Permission To Be Human

You don’t have to navigate this alone

A space to slow down, listen inward, and gently find your footing again.

Does this feel familiar?

Carrying too much

You’ve been holding a lot for a long time—anxiety, self-doubt, or past experiences that still feel present in your body.

At times, it can leave you feeling overwhelmed, disconnected, or unsure where to begin.

Caught in a cycle

You find yourself stuck in familiar patterns—overthinking, shutting down, or pushing through exhaustion.

Even when you understand what’s happening, it can be hard to shift.

Wanting something different

There’s a part of you that knows something else is possible—
a sense of clarity, steadiness, or feeling more like yourself again.

You may not know how to get there yet, but the desire is there.

We’ll move at your pace

  • Starting the Conversation

We’ll begin with a brief consultation where you can share what’s bringing you in and ask any questions.

There’s no pressure—just a chance to see if this feels like a good fit.

  • Doing the Work

In our sessions, we’ll slow things down and explore what’s coming up—at a pace that feels manageable and grounded.

We’ll focus on building awareness, connection, and a greater sense of stability.

  • Moving Forward

Over time, you may begin to notice more clarity, steadiness, and a deeper sense of connection with yourself.

We’ll continue to adjust the work to meet you where you are.

It can feel like a lot.

How we might work together

We’ll slow things down and work together in a way that feels grounded, collaborative, and truly attuned to you.

Together, this might look like:

Integrating elements of Somatic Experiencing®

Reconnecting with your body and gently regulating your nervous system.

Understanding different aspects of who you are

Working with the different parts of you—through curiosity, clarity, and compassion.

Using what works in the moment

Drawing from CBT, DBT, mindfulness, and other approaches when helpful.

In case you are wondering who you are working with…

Hi, I’m Patrick

I’m a therapist trained in Somatic Experiencing® and Internal Family Systems. For over 15 years, I’ve worked with people who feel overwhelmed, stuck in patterns, or disconnected from themselves—and are looking for a different way forward.

Many of the people I work with have a sense that something more is possible—a steadiness, clarity, or connection that feels just out of reach. At the same time, they may also feel overwhelmed, shut down, or unsure of what to do next.

My approach is collaborative, grounded, and paced in a way that feels manageable. We won’t rush or push past what your system is ready for.

Rather than focusing only on thoughts or behaviors, we’ll also pay attention to your body and your internal experience—creating space to understand what’s happening and begin to shift it over time.

I aim to offer a space that feels steady, respectful, and attuned to where you are.

If you’re considering reaching out, you’re welcome to take your time. There’s no pressure—just a place to begin.

Questions are normal

  • That’s completely okay. You don’t need to come in with a clear plan or the “right words.” We can begin wherever you are and make sense of things together.

  • It’s a simple, low-pressure conversation. We’ll talk about what’s been going on for you, what you’re hoping for, and you’ll have space to ask any questions. It’s also a chance to get a feel for whether working together feels right.Description text goes here

  • No. You’re welcome to take it one step at a time. Some people come for a few sessions, others longer—we’ll move at a pace that feels right for you.

  • We’ll go slowly and stay connected to what feels manageable. A big part of this work is helping your system feel more regulated and supported—not pushing you past your limits.

  • Both approaches help you build awareness and connection with your internal experience. Somatic Experiencing® focuses on your nervous system and body, while Internal Family Systems helps you understand different parts of yourself. Together, they support a deeper sense of steadiness and self-understanding.

  • Yes—I am in-network with several insurance plans. When you schedule a consultation, you’ll be able to view your coverage, fees, and available times.

Sessions are available both in-person and virtually. If you have questions, we can talk it through together.

If this feels like a good fit, you’re welcome to reach out when you are ready.

You don’t have to have everything figured out.
We can begin with a simple conversation—at a pace that feels right to you.
